Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix showed a flair for athletics early on discovering her ability to sprint when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. At her first attempt and placing in the top two at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in the 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. Then she was accepted into the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Her first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set a world junior record for sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 secs. In 2005, she was the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, defeating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was a frequent competitor at Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She was consistently at the top of the podium in every event.
