Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger, born on February 22nd 1983 She is an American comedian, actress and executive producer. She was the 2008 winner of NBC's Last Comic Standing and went on to host the syndicated dating show Excused and the TBS game show Separation Anxiety.
Shlesinger hosted Truth and Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late-night talkshow. In 2022, she's launched six comedy specials for Netflix. In April 2020, Netflix premiered her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch show.
Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born New York City to a Jewish family. She was born in New York City to a Jewish family. Her family moved to Dallas as young. She was a student at Addison's Greenhill School, Texas. There she studied Spanish, and was part the school's improvisation team.
Shlesinger performed at ComedySportz Dallas and was a freshman at the University of Kansas. She was also part of the cast in Semester at Sea. She transferred to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts where she studied in film, honed her editing and writing skills and joined one of the campus' comedy sketch groups, Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

Shlesinger completed her college degree and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was one the most well-known members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
