Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson (born July 7th, 1968) is an American actress best known for her roles in the roles of Linda Reagan in the CBS police procedural Blue Bloods and as Alex Taylor on the NBC drama Third Watch, and Josie Watts in the NBC daytime soap drama Another World.
Early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst located in DuPage County Illinois Chicago and was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the daughter of a schoolteacher's parents, Barbara Jane (Hultman) and Robert Eugene Carlson. Carlson is of Swedish descent , with roots from Smaland.
Career
1986-92: College and beginning of career
She first came to Hollywood as a background actor in the film Lucas which starred Charlie Sheen and Corey Haim. Later, she accompanied her older sister Betsy who attended Knox College in Galesburg.
